Apple iTunes is still negotiating with Twitter hopes depth of integration

A person familiar with Apple and Twitter still maintains close cooperation and to discuss future product integration further. Current mutual concern focuses on the integration of Twitter and iTunes. Apple is preparing to give up autonomy in the iTunes Ping social network. Currently, the user can associate a Twitter account and Ping, and Ping and other Twitter users.

It is not currently clear, why investment negotiations did not succeed of Apple and Twitter. This is an unusual move for Apple, as Apple usually prefers homegrown technology. Sources said, Twitter in negotiations with Microsoft and Google's strategic investments, also with great care, and Twitter does not need cash, and accepting that investment will limit Twitter's future development opportunities.
